The local McDonalds, Smithers, in conjunction with Fayette County's Valley Elementary School held a McTeacher’s night in order to raise funds for the new playground at Valley Elementary. They were able to raise over $400.00 that evening. The Local School Improvement Council has a long way to go to reach their goal of $60,000.00.
