2008 Buckskin Council Mountain Rifle District Day Camp
Cub Scout Day Camp provides an opportunity for continuing the Cub Scout program during the summer. The camp program is designed to meet the needs and interests of Cubs and Webelos, so preparation for achievements, electives and activity badges can be continuous. Many of the activities will apply for credit in the advancement program.
Once in camp, all boys work on achievements geared for their rank in September. That is, a rising 2nd grader who has been a Tiger Cub is now considered a Wolf and will work toward his Bobcat and Wolf rank.
It is important to remember that Tiger Cubs are registered in Scouting as part of a team with an adult partner. Adult partners are expected to attend day camp with Tiger Cubs.
This year Mountain Rifle District returned to Coonskin Park for the event.
